Shipping & Shelf Life
We ship the products freshly processed and vacuum-packed. The packaging consists of insulating materials such as Styrofoam with bubble wrap inserts and at least one frozen gel pad.
For the duration of transport, we may decide to temporarily freeze the goods, for example for transport with Air France Cargo from West Africa to Europe, as the cold chain could be interrupted before loading at airports without temperature management and due to too low and uncontrolled airplane cargo hold temperatures. We want to maintain the perfect cold chain and the exact delivery date and reserve the right to take measures to freeze, which, however, do not negatively affect the quality, but rather guarantee it!
When directly freezing the products upon receipt, we do not recommend storage below minus 16 degrees Celsius or for longer than one month, as oxidation may occur, which can affect the quality of the product.
